Well, the weather finally caught up to us. Having to move the LakePoint Sand Season Opener to Sunday due to weather caused us to have only the Men’s A division. If you’ve already registered for this weekend, no further action is required and you are automatically registered for March 21st-22nd. If you are unable to attend the re-scheduled date, please contact Continue reading →
Our last tourney of the year featured extremes. Extremely excited jrs anxious for their first tourney with new teammates and then the reality of playing on a weekend that started rainy and chilly, but ended sunny and mild. There were several exciting matches, and all 3 of the finals had parents on the edge of their seats. If this is the level that these athletes are playing in the preseason, next year promises to be an exciting one! You can see pics of the action Continue reading →
Well, it was one for the record books. The Collegiate Sand Clash; featuring FSU, GSU, LSU, SC, and UAB, was definitely the coldest event we’ve ever held. With morning temps starting at around 28 degrees, it made for a slow start. However, the ladies warmed up quickly and the play got under way with the sun doing it’s part to warm everyone else. In the end, FSU sand teams took the title and the trophy home to Tallahassee. If you’d like to see pics from Continue reading →
