Boys and Girls ages 8 to 18 are invited to learn the basics of beach volleyball through drills, skills, and fun. Please dress in a t-shirt and athletic shorts; Hat/visor/sunglasses are optional.
Camp Overview
Our beach volleyball summer camps are tailored to the individual’s level for beginner, intermediate, and/or elite skills. Elite players are urged to join our collegiate coach clinics.
Beach volleyball summer camps are perfect for players who:
– have played beach volleyball but want to improve their technique and VBall IQ without committing to a full summer club program
– have only played indoor volleyball and want to try out the beach game or get cross-training for fall school indoor season
– want to learn about how to become a beach player and what it takes to become successful at this game
– this is a great camp for a high school indoor volleyball team who wants to get some touches on the ball, learn a little about the beach game and have some fun with teammates.
We reinforce proper technique and safety, providing the entire spectrum of what a player will need to take volleyball to the next level. With weekly additions including nutrition, speed & agility, and yoga, we will provide a complete package to improve strength, speed and skills. All the sand-specific instruction will raise your game to the next level and are taught by seasoned professionals, including athletes who have made it to play at the collegiate level! The skills taught combined with additional touches on the ball improve an athletes VBall IQ.
Camp Details
We are looking to offer various camps this summer. A player will learn the strategy of sand volleyball along with basic techniques to improve your volleyball game as a whole. For the player is more experienced with 3+ years of competitive indoor volleyball, or has had some prior sand experience, we will also utilize video analysis to highlight technique and drills including pulling/hitting/serving, while also reviewing similarities and differences between the sand and indoor game. We will incorporate basic nutrition and yoga, along with stretching and key sand techniques.
