Beach Volleyball FAQ’S

When will I get an email with info about the event?
– An email will go out Friday by 6 pm, on the day before the event with the schedule. The email will also include information regarding the weather, check in link, live-scoring link and any other relevant information. Please Do NOT contact us prior to Friday evening regarding the schedule as we need time to create it.

How does the beach schedule work?
– Both pool play, and playoff brackets are played on the same day for the age groups. Anyone can follow the schedule and results live by clicking on the link provided.

What time should I be there in the morning?
– Check-in the morning of your event between 8:30am-8:45am. Check-in can be done on-site or via the check-in link provided in the Friday email. Matches will begin promptly by 9am. Should your event begin at a later time, you will be notified of your check-in time 1-2 days prior to the event.

Is there a gate fee to get into the beach pavilion?
– There is no gate charge to enter. There is WiFi, power and shade. There is limited seating provided, please plan accordingly. There are outdoor showers for athletes. There are bathrooms on site, please know we reserve the right to shut down showers and bathrooms should weather conditions worsen.

Where is parking for this facility?
– In Atlanta, our parking lot is located past the pavilion on the right, behind courts 1-4, and is a gravel lot. In Huntsville, our parking lot is located at the front of the venue, facing courts 1-5.

Are there bathrooms onsite?
– Yes, we have bathrooms located onsite at the facility.

Are there showers?
– Yes. In Atlanta, we have 3 showers located at the back of the pavilion. In Huntsville we have 2 outdoor showers and indoor showers that can be unlocked as requested.

Is there WiFi?
– Yes. There is a public WiFi at the beach pavilion.

Can I bring a grill?
– No.

Can I bring my dog?
– No. Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs at our facilities. Should you have a service animal, please email us ahead of time and let the onsite Tournament Director know when you arrive at the beach pavilion.

Is there an athlete dress code?
– Please refer to the national governing bodies page located HERE to see if your tournament requires a dress code.

Do I have to be a member of a National Governing Body?
– For the events that are sanctioned by a NGB, yes you must be a member of the NGB for that specific event.

Do I have to register with a club?
– No. All athletes are welcome at RallyVB events and can register as independent. Neither a club affiliation nor a coach is required, all you need is a partner.

How do I rent a court?
– Please email us at info@rallyvb.com with all rental inquiries and to get our rental rates.

Do we play with rain?
– We play through rain and pause for lightning. Should weather become too extreme, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event.

What is our refund policy?
– Cancellations happen, we understand that sometimes life gets in the way of our volleyball (but we all try to make sure it doesn’t happen too often). We will refund your fee in full, less the processing fee, if notice is received 72 hours prior to the start of the event (before Wed. morning for Sat. event). 50%, less the processing fee will be refunded if notified 71 – 12 hrs prior to start time. After that, there is no refund. To ensure that a refund goes to the correct team, please forward your receipt from registration to info@rallyvb.com.

Where can I put my tent(s) and/or chair(s)?
– You are welcome to bring your own tent and chair. We ask that you keep player safety in mind and not set up on the sand, but off the court or in the grass located behind courts 1-4 and on the boardwalk the follows courts 5-10.
